Hi! My name is PHAthena. I'm a message board host, as well as the assistant chat leader here at Dog Hobbyist!

I currently share my home w/my husband, WILD MAN son, and Athena the rehomed dalmatian.

I have gotten many dogs from shelters, and am a HUGE advocate for rescue & rehoming organizations. Although I do not foster at this time, I do try to volunteer my time.

I hope that this board will become a wonderful place for people to come gather information on dogs in shelters, gather information on helping a dog adjust to rehoming, and sharing fantastic stories about their dogs!
