I adopted Sammy, a 15 month old German Shepherd from a local Rescue Society, he was an abuse case. He has only been with us for a few days but we already love him very much. We lost our beloved 9 yr old female Shepherd in March of this year. I was begining to wonder if the whole in my heart would ever be filled again. I would like any info or advice on training shelter dogs. He doesn't know very much, sit and to walk on a leash.
