I truly am very sorry for your loss. I had the same thing with my old girl, Maddie, a few years ago. It really hurts to part with our old friends, but you are so right about the memories and that's the way it should be. Has Nehi been grieving? I know that my cat sulked for days after Maddie's death.

:We had to have him put down, due to medical problems. He was a tiny German Shepherd looking puppy when we adopted him eleven and a half years ago. He was a great dog. Isn't it funny how you only remember the good stuff about them after they are gone, none of the chewing or digging or other stuff?
