I just have to share this story. I don't have the pleasure of being owned by Afghans, but I think they are just gorgeous. This past summer, I was driving through town and say a convertible ahead of me with a young man driving and a companion sitting in the passenger seat with the most gorgeous long blonde hair. Thinking this young man and his girl were out for a drive, I was very envious since is was a wonderful day to be out in a convertible and I'd love to have that hair. Anyway, I pulled up along side them at a stop light to find out this companion is an afghan hound! I nearly doubled over with laughter. It was just so neat, and the two sped away to enjoy a beautiful day.
