You are so right about needing help putting on an agility competition! Goodness, when our club puts on a trial there are hundreds of things to help with! We just put on a NADAC Trial early December and whew! Work but fun ;) By all means, speak up the next time you go to watch!

: I go to all the agility shows they hold around here (as a spectator). When I get older and have my own hourse (many mnay years in the future) I plan on adopting a couple rescue dogs (probably one of the breeds i listed above) and getting them ILP'd & trained for agility!

:Good for you Abby! And, for heaven sakes, if your just watching, offer to help out at the events. Most of the events I go to need help and it's a great way to meet people. There are a lot of jobs that need to get done in order for an event to run smoothly. Different jobs have different skill needs, but some of the most simple (and let you watch the dogs) are bar setting, straightening the chute, leash runner or scribe runner. This would be a great way to start getting involved and the club members will love you for it. If you're in the Colorado Springs area, let me know and I can help you get connected. :-)
