Welcome! Yes, you are right about cost effective ways to build your own agility equipment. I have some built with wood and some with PVC pipe, unfortunately, the most expensive thing is a tunnel :( Below are some web sites to help you in your search. Please feel free to tell us more about your experiences and post some pictures!

Dog Agility Tunnels By Agility For Less
:My wife is wanting to agility train with our GSP, and is looking to get outfitted for that purpose. We know that a variety of the obstacles can be fairly easily handmade, but tunnels don't seem to fall in that category. So we're stuck between wanting something inexpensive, but also something that will serve her and the dog well in this pursuit. Kiddie tunnels seem too fragile (and often too small/short) and bona fide agility tunnels - even those made just for training - cost a pretty penny. Anybody here have suggestions on where to look for good quality at at least a somewhat lower price? Is there a used market out there that we can check into?...
:Personal replies are fine if you'd rather not make your recommendations in public.
:Thanks!
