: How to I get rid of the doggy oder from my 5 month female. A bath does very little. The perfume makes me itch. Please help!

Hi DW,

I have tried a couple of different things. But I was told by the person who presently grooms my Airedale that in between groomings, I could bathe Sassy using about 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid diluted in a pint of water. Then to following that using 1 tablespoon of shampoo diluted in a pint of water. This does seem to work for me. (I use a herbal shampoo) My dog is often running in a private dog park with a pack of 4 other Airedales and my Cocker/Chow mix. So baths between groomings are a must.

I hope this helps.....good luck

Linda
