Bleeding after mating.

I have just mated one of my girls the late mating only being 3 days ago.

We took her for a walk yesterday, not a strenuous one, non the less a walk.

We were home for about 1hr when we noticed she was bleeding, it was a dark
brown, black old blood looking and smelling. I have never seen this before
or heard of it. I have contacted the vet who also said not to worry about it
at this stage.

I was hoping someone else may have had experience with seeing this and what the out
come was. We checked her this morning and she is still bleeding old blood but it isn't
dripping out like it was yesterday. She is eating fine, looks completely happy no problems
there and is drinking normally as well. The only change is a good change that she is a
little more loving and wants to be on top of you if she is given half the chance.
