Greyhounds are my breed... NGA retired racers. The only one that was ever worth breeding was from Big Tar X AZ's Eliza, both of whom were near the top of their respective sire and dam standings in the mid-nineties. The questions I put forward are those that someone breeding any dog would do well to ask him or herself. The greyhound I have is neutered. He came to me from a very bad situation and it was time for him to really be retired. My other greys are from lines that aren't much to speak of. The difference with a breed such as the APBT is that you will be opening yourself up to a whole BUNCH of unsavory people looking for a dog for every manner of objectionable reasons. When I worked in a shelter environment, we ran into this all the time. You will run into people willing to lie to get a pup. Screening these people can become a full time job in itself.
