didn't mean to jump into a thread without introducing myself, please forgive me :-)

i am a mother to several furkids, including 6 dogs...the latest addition is Skittle, a rescue pitbull...she was slated for euthanasia due to severe shyness issues thru the pitbull rescue i transported her to (i work with the small local humane society here), but since i had fostered her a week prior to transport, was dog saavy, and familiar with her shyness issues, i was offered the opportunity to permanently adopt her...she has been with us now since late last september, and with a lot of hard work, she is making progress...although she will probably never be 100% socialized, she is still a jewel in this family and very much loved...
