: That is a little brash and un-called for. I find it kind of rude that because I didn't get you set a deadline for me to get the information back to you and if I didn't meet this invisible deadline I was obvioulsy lying or my dog was obviously not from what I said he was.
: I'm a 17 year old kid who goes to school full time, works, and was on my mid-winter break. I didn't even touch a computer all week.
: I find that odd, becaus I didn't prove his bloodlines to you specifically the dog is "worthless" and should be nuetered? Exactly what are papers anyway? Do they make a dog good or bad? Lets say my dog was a pit bull mutt, would that make him worthless? I think I said the reason I was considering keeping him intact was because of his parents temperment and his temperment thus far. Because I wanted to show people how pit bulls could be given the right home, people, and treatment.
:My dog goes to work with me every time I am scheduled, the customers are simply in love with him.
: He has papers, he's registered with the UKC and another kennel club that I don't remember. i don't have the papers in my hands, i bought him off a close friend who has the other dogs papers.
: I know you know a lot about the breed and dogs in general but you don't have to be rude or have an attitude about it. I will tell you the crosses but i'm not going to break my neck, or bend my schedule so I can run to my friends, look at a paper, write it down, and post back to you.
: My best guess is that the cross is in one of Bo's parents, directly, are Bolio, and the other Colby. In fact, I'm pretty positive because Asa got him from a Bolio kennel in Michigan.

About the deadline, Not exaclty as I too check back from time to time.
I do not mean to be quite so bold an to the point but I tend to not "beat around the bush" and give fake replies........If I have an idea and know then I will state it. If I don't know I say "in my opinion" or "I will look into it and get back to you"....
Let me begin with what I was trying to get across in a straight forward manner. I respect the fact of being young and busy and cannot respond as would like and is why I respond as fast as I can due to me being extremely busy and not a whole lot of time to "speak" as I would normally as if we were in a personal setting or even the phone....Going to my knowledge and time spent with this breed and this breed only (although have had interactions with rotties, dobies, and several other "difficult"breeds on an intimate level) I know what we do and do not need in the gene pool. You say I think the dog "worthless" and should be neutered......I say, NO, the dog is not worthless as I say it could be used in a wide variety of tasks. If you give me your dog I could put him to work as, for example, a cattle herding dog....Would he be worthless, NO. WOuld he/she be the best candidate for breeding, NO. As there are many other breeds that far surpass the level of ability( i.e. border collies as you don't have to train him, they do it automatically). ........"WHAT ARE PAPERS AND DO THEY MAKE A DOG GOOD OR BAD." That question is vague..If you look at the whole paper factor it is to give the buyer/breeder/planner what would be a better cross to improve the breed as a whole. The fact of the matter is there are sheep in wolves clothing in this area here too. There are those that will lie to get you to buy something as with anything. Hence the terms for cars being sold as "lemons." So it is up to the buyer to be educated in what they want and who has it available. If you simply buy not knowing anything or very little you are bound to buy just that. Do to the fact that your criteria standards of what you want are very low. "SHOULD YOUR DOG BE NEUTERED"..wELL, THINK ABOUT IT. yOU "THINK YOUR DOG HAS AN EXCELLENT PERSONALITY. bUT YOU HAVE NOT DEALT WITH THE BREED LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT DECENT IS. aS tASHA SAID, IF YOU WAIT FOR NEUTERING THEN THE DOGS MENTALITY WILL BE AS IF IT HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED. tHE ONLY FACTOR IS TESTOSTERONE LEVELS HAVE DECREASED. tHE DOG WILL PRETTY MUCH BE SIMILAR WHICH IS WHY YOU MUST DO IT EARLY. tO PREVENT THIS. yOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR DOG AS YOU THINK YOU MIGHT. i KNOW THEM VERY WELL AND HAVE KNOWN THE FRIENDLIEST OF POOCHES GET CORNERED OR APPROACHED BY ANOTHER DOG AND BECOME VERY HOSTILE. aND TO TOP that have the inexperienced and naive not have the slightest clue as to stop the action without both becoming seriously injured. As I say and will always say. This breed is not for first timers. You must know how dogs in general think and behave. Then go to the more demanding breeds say a Rottie. If they are not trained they can become a serious threat to society and the owners keeping it. Although pits rarley if kept properly pose a threat to humans they can be stubburn and will not listen to you in the event of a mistake, your fault or not. I know the breed you own. OK? I am in all seriousness. Your dog will act normally and as happy as ever and actively play with other dog and even back down when pushed to the edge by another dog. But when your dog gets to be mature the games stop. PERIOD. I know some dogs that may "tolerate" another and even be relaxed but it WILL have its moments. Maybe it wants to relax or just sniff the area. The other dog may badger it or even try to check it. It WILL normally not walk away. You do NOT own a REGULAR dog. It will use everything it has to stop the annoyance and probably will go further than just doing enough to stop the nuisance. I am telling you from years of experience. Just think. When you were born, one year later I started to get into the breed heavily. I at that time had much knowledge before I even considered buying. I KNEW what I was getting into. Should you netuer. YES. You do not have the experience to know what is a good from bad trait to have expressed in the following genetic ancestry. Not to mention you say the papers you have are legit. The problem is you don't have the papers. That is the point. The market for your pups if you were to sell them would be on the same level as the worst bred "pit". Why? The level at which you are buying /selling has very little knowledge on the breed. As you stated you don't even know the exact bloodlines or lineage your dog posesses. Which if you knew certain dogs and where they are in the history then you could be assured that those individuals did their homework and have bred the best possible candidate for the breeding program. And you say your pups "parents" had Bolio as the father. Well, just to let you know Bolio was a male and that would make him the gradnfather. If he was the grandfather I will say with firm satisfaction that it is almost 100% false. Don't you know that those dogs directly off are worth $2000-$3000 and are very old. You have been lied to. I hate to say that but you need to do your homework before you jump into things. If these dogs were bred like that then they would definatley not be given or sold to some ol' pet store. TRUST ME. Ihave a pretty good idea. Sorry to be frank, but be careful of what lines you put down and the kennel you got it from because if you use someone elses lines or kennel from some site they can kind of get you in a bit of trouble as it is plagerism and that is illegal here in the United states...... The biggest thing for us to understand to obtain 100% accurate responses you must be 100% truthful. I am not saying your lying but have the facts ready on the table in case someone asks. I am sorry to say that if your dogs papers are in someone elses hands that doesn't do you any good and renders your dog average and can only be rated based off your word. And how many people can we trust with their word when buying something of consideral value. You said that Bo's dad is diectly off Bolio, I explained that already. You say that the other half is Colby....Well Colby is a person and have yet to see a part dog part human. What you probably mean is Colby's " whatever, the name of the dog goes here" For example Colby's "Bunch" when bred to Colby's "Rhody" You get a dog owned by a man named Webster. That dog is know as Webster's "Jerry" But anyone who knows the webster stuff knows that his stuff is bred by Colby....And blah blah blah. ....JUst by this I know you are learning so I won't be nasty. That is what we are here for. To learn..JUst try to get used to my way of explaining as I get to the point fast and hard. Hey I don't know what you have and neither do you, I think. So go and find out. You may have something worth literally thousands. But first get the papers because then it means nothing. You may be driving this car bought by your dad but if it isn't registered to you then it is your but really not yours. You may own that dog but since it is not registered you don't have breeding rights to sell at what the dog is really worth. Not to mention if your dog gets stolen your papers could help prove your case against a potential thief/criminal........Like I have said before..If you have a quesition ....ASK... By the way your dog could possibly be dual registered but only through certain agencies..UKC and what?
Get it on as soon as possible as we are all waiting.............................
