Hmmm, interesting, Lynn. But I know of a completely different example (only one) of a friend's dog who was neutered at 18 mos. and still continued to mount females for at least a year after neutering. What was explained to my friend (and relayed to me) was that hormone levels didn't just cut off completely but dropped and tapered off, so part was inclination and part hormonal. NOT a marking issue, but a parallel one.
