:Hi Snakey. AOL was giving me fits for a couple of days and booting me off with the dreaded WAOL Protection Fault every time I tried to access the forums here (new or old).
:I know change can be a pain, but I think you will get used to the new format pretty quickly. You can easily track posts in a thread, search for old threads or posts, keep the new posts straight in a forum, etc. All features I really like. Plus, in the FAQ you will find a simple version of html coding that works on the new forums here (and only here). Look for the link titled "tools and toys". With it you can do things like post in different colors, in bold or italics and add emoticons. Links are also easier to input. Now, that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but sometimes it is fun to see color and I'm going to love just coding bold or italics when I want to emphasize something rather than typing in all caps.
:BTW, all glitches seem to be ironed out (fingers crossed). We couldn't know how the forums would run with many posts without doing a beta run with ample posts. Those early postings helped with getting the last kinks out.
