:<<:Anyone remember the dog in the Road Warrier? This was my first introduction to the ACD, or Queensland Heeler, as it is sometimes called. I'd never seen a dog with such intelligent, penetrating eyes! >>
:That was what first attracted me also -- the intense intelligence in those eyes and I have never been disappointed. It has taken me years however to see their beauty. It is a very raw and wild beauty, not very 'breed' looking at all.

As a wild animal lover, I see beauty in independence and in form following need and place in the ecosystem. And, I could see the dingo in the Aussies very readily. Didn't take me long to fall. I understand they are just as intense as their eyes suggest. Is this true? Do you need to keep that intelligence engaged?
