Ran into a basset out for a walk yesterday...as I was chatting w/the owner it dawned on me 99.99% of the bassets I know or have run into posses PEOPLE names.

Why?

Percy, Sonny, Priscilla, etc...

Not that I'm anti people names for dogs, just curious...
