: other wise known as Blué de Gasconé....I think I spelled that right. Anyways, I will be in europe with my parents for most of June. We are interested in seeing, and possibly finding out about taking home one or two. We have been breeding/hunting Basset hounds and Blue tick coon hounds for years. My dad has been for most of his life and so have I. Does anyone know where we could get in touch with a breeder? We know that they are mostly in southern France, but any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks : Tashina Tashina, I would strongly recomend an AHBA(American Hunting Basset Assoc.) Basset Hound if your looking for a Hunting Basset Hound. Daryl and Vicki Woods of Tenn. have some great hunting blueticked bassets. There hound Kings of Alot of Chase took first in the AHBA Hound of the Year Run Off and second in the AHBA Open Class World Champions this year. You can find the Woods Basset at www.bassetnet.com under links.
