Beagles are usually not aggresive. You should let him know you are boss first. Take him not to harshly by the scruff of his neck and reprimand.or roll him onto his back and hold him there until his relaxes. or take ahold of his mouth hold it firmly shut don't let him go until he chills out and relizes your boss then you can work on the nipping.
