Hello folks
We are a family of four who are getting our first Beagle puppy next week, both my wife and I grew up with dogs and are excited about the new family addition, my son grew up with a small dog that we left back home when we moved here, he misses her very much. We have now decided to make the family grow again and we are getting a beagle from a friend's litter of 6.
I have read that beagles can bark very loud when left home alone and I was wondering if getting 2 dogs instead of one would solve this issue, the idea came up when reading about beagles on some website and I wonder if I get 2 dogs instead of one, they wouldn't feel a slonely when we be not home.
Is this a smart thing to do?
