Beagles are not aggressive by nature, and he should not attack when your GSD when he is seizing. He may however be frightened of it, but dogs have amazing intuition, it may not be a problem. I would reccomend you stay away from getting an older dog that may have problems you don't know about, but if you raise him from a pup it should be no problem at all. As for walking if you train the "heel" position well, it will be fine. With my beagle he wants to sniff, but even without a leash he will walk right by my side. You have to start at a young age and teach them to walk at your pace, when they do well, give them some time to roam a bit and sniff, lol its what beagle do! A walk is not as fun if they can't explore a bit, but you decide when he can and cannot sniff around. Its easy to do if your consistant. Just say "heel!" when you want him to walk with you, and "go" when your letting him explore a bit. beagles were bred to hunt in packs and follow the hunter, they LOVE to obey commands on a walk, its instinctive, as if they are following the hunter. When they hear you say "go" they know they are allowed to search for a rabbit, or female dog as it will most likely be in your case ; ) Anymore questions please ask! ; )Hope I helped you out!
