We have an 11 month old male Bichon, Derby. He has only been moderately successful in housebreaking- If I dont keep to a strict schedule, he will go in the house. He is sneaky, so I havn't ever caught him in the act. He won't tolerate a crate or any conefinement. If we are not home, he has gone as long as 12 hours without an accident!!!(because he sits at the window waiting for us) I don't know how to get him to tell me when he needs to go...I have tried many ways. Can anyone help?
