The size of the bichons ear is also alot smaller than the poodle. Look at how big the ears are.the poodle has a more rounded ear and the bichon has more of a v shaped ear. The snout of the poodle is also alot longer in length than the bichons snout. The hair of the poodle is often curly but the bicon hair is wavy. Is the tail docked? If it is this dog would never be a bichon. The bichon has a nice round tail that ussually touches their back whan carried up. This should help you i hope. Mike
