Hi. I started all three of my dogs on BARF about a week ago, and so far they seem to be doing OK with it. I still have a lot to learn and read everything I can about it, and I'm sure I will be tweaking their meals as I go along, but for now I have two specific questions: I have read about adding ground up flax seed to their diet. Can I use the oils out of flax seed oil caplets that are sold for humans? Secondly, I came across some pills at the pharmacy of Acidopholus, which is a probiotic to aid digestion. Wouldn't that be a good thing to add to my dog's food once in a while? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sue
