I agree. IMO there are two issues here: Proper handling, which everyone should understand whether they have pets or not, and food quality, which to me should be regulated long before the products get to my house, regardless of whether or not I am going to feed them cooked or raw.

We have a crisis in this country of an unsafe food supply, and the answer is NOT to tell people to cook their meat more and use more bleach in the kitchen. It is for consumers to stop voting with their pocketbooks by buying contaminated food in the first place!
