my year-and-a-half old cat has terrible breath and salivates excessively. he is very healthy, neutered, indoor, and has always had bad breath. i started him on Pitcairn's diet partially in an attempt to get his breath under control, but it hasn't helped. i cannot see any inflamed gums or obvious dental problems, but of course, i'm no vet.
