Hummm. . .well, my BC gal doesn't bring me anything, however, she does greet me with whines, low growls and barks and hugs when I bend down to pet her. She does have a fetish for crate beds though. She doesn't like them in her crate, so she pulls them out and sleeps on them on the grass. Gets to be expensive! LOL!
:My BC is absolutely adament that when someone (either my husband or me or both) comes home that he has a bone that he shows us each individually. We both must acknowledge this bone! I don't know if it is an offering of some kind or what, for sure. He is 6 and has been doing this for several yrs. I know that wolves wll bring sticks or twigs to each other as an offering or an invitation to play, but play is not on Atticus's mind and it doesn't appear to be an offering- as he never gives it to us (he does sometimes do his play growling when we acknowledge this bone). So it seems that ths is only a symbolic gesture. Does ANYONE else have a BC that does something like this??? I'm really getting curious and Atticus isn't telling! Thanks! Nancy (& Atticus)
