Oh boy did this make me chuckle. Jazzy greets us with her ball. She has OCD when it comes to her ball. I met a couple with a BC at the Krewe of Mutts Mardi Gras parade and with that BC it was a frisbee that she was obsessed with. We had to loan them ours as we had left it sitting on the blanket and the poor BC was going nuts trying to get at it.
I find it so fascinating to hear of all those quirky little traits that BCs have.
Another one of Jazzys is after she comes in from her first morning potty break she has to stop at her food bowl and sniff it one time. It doesn't matter if it has food in it or not.
What other quirks do your BCs have?
:My BC is absolutely adament that when someone (either my husband or me or both) comes home that he has a bone that he shows us each individually. We both must acknowledge this bone! I don't know if it is an offering of some kind or what, for sure. He is 6 and has been doing this for several yrs. I know that wolves wll bring sticks or twigs to each other as an offering or an invitation to play, but play is not on Atticus's mind and it doesn't appear to be an offering- as he never gives it to us (he does sometimes do his play growling when we acknowledge this bone). So it seems that ths is only a symbolic gesture. Does ANYONE else have a BC that does something like this??? I'm really getting curious and Atticus isn't telling! Thanks! Nancy (& Atticus)
