At this time, I was watching Kyra nest in her box, waiting (impatiently) for the drama to be over, and for her to give me my long awaited for litter. The year as many of you remember, was horrible for me, starting with the death of my neice, and spiraling downhill rapidly. This litter was the highlight of that year.

Within a few hours, starting with Races, she gave me 9 beautiful babies: Races, Dei, Obie, Rocko, Bob, Wings, Eros, Mir, & Locki. Little did I know, what a roller coaster the next few weeks would be. That Obie would become so ill, and I'd almost lose him not once, but twice before he was 7 wks old.

But stubborness prevailed, mine & his. Two years old today. And they've gone above and beyond my wildest expectations for this litter, even Obie. I never, ever expected him to be within standard, and he is a healthy 28 3/4 inches tall. I was warned he may have long lasting health problems: megacolon, gas, and more, but he is healthy, and rarely gassy, and the world's sweetest lil man. They've not hit the show ring much, mostly specialties, but on the field, and off the field, they've made me happy

So, happy 2nd birthday to the Queen Litter and thankyou to their wonderful owners. May the future hold as much for them, as the past has given them.
