I recently adopted a year old supposedly poodle/papillon mix from the original owner. She bought it from a mall pet store. The dog is 23 pounds. Is it possible to get a dog that big from a papillon and (I assume) a miniature poodle, even a large one? I doubt the poodle parent was a standard poodle!
