Have you been tracking her temp? Since the last time it dropped? If it drops below 100 (some dogs 99)it can mean puppies in 24 hrs. (Although I had a bitch that went up and down for about a week :) I don't leave my bitches alone for over an hr. at a time when temps drop. The discharge is also a sign whelping should start soon. Also watch for unexplained shivering (like she is cold for no reason) and/or the skin along the spine "crawling"/tightening...these are usually first contractions. Most bitches start with digging and restlessness, some of mine will cry and howl and don't want to be left alone... then progress to more frantic digging and paper tearing with their teeth, intervals of panting, then shivering, skin crawling then finally full squating contractions (at first it may look like they are urinating). I like to pinch the cord right at the puppy in case mom gets to agressive chewing the cord...heard of disasters (first time bitches) chewing into a puppy or leg. Just be ready!
