This issue of whether to breed back to back has much more to do with the health of the bitch than the pups. Like I said, some moms do fine going back to back and some don't. In those that do well, it is best to breed the litters and then spay early rather than breed-skip-breed, etc. Have you asked the breeder about this? He might be able to give you some insight.
