Well, the rescue group raves about him and he looks adorable, but do you live anywhere near this shelter so that you can see the dog in person? I know a lot of people adopt dogs sight unseen, but I would feel more comfortable meeting the dog first and introducing the whole family, including other pets, to the dog before making a final decision. On the plus side, you have owned a bulldog before and are familiar with the breed in general. If you are one of those people who trusts your gut level instinct, contact this rescue group and find out more about the dog. If you don't live in Connecticut, ask about transport. Most of these groups will stand behind their dogs and actually have you sign a contract that you agree to return the dog to them if the placement doesn't work out. Keep us posted. I get the feeling that this dog has spoken to you and may be in your future soon.

I adopted my youngest dog through Petfinder.com and was lucky enough to find that he was being fostered within 30 miles of me, so I could meet him first and introduce him to the rest of the family.
:Hey there!!
:I was on petfinder.com and found a 10 month old AB. I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions regarding whether he sounds like a good guy.
:The picture is of my past English Bulldog.
