I got her age wrong, her DOB is 12/04/02, so she's more than 7 weeks; she'll be 2 months old tomorrow(02/04/03)! We got her from a breeder in NY. Her full name is Shanghi's Sophie Sun and her call name is Sophie =) She'll be going in to the vet soon to get her 2nd round of puppy shots and anything else necessary.
woohoo! spoiled rotten already. Which brings me to the concern...
I need help with crate training!! She doesn't like being in it at all. She starts wailing as though she's getting a limb chopped off or something! She did pretty well last night, we got up around 12 and let her out for a second and gave her a little bit of food. Around 5am she woke us up again. She gets into your lap and falls asleep, but as soon as she's in the crate all she wants is out! She slept in it ok yesterday for a while, but wouldn't take a nap in there today. She has soft blankets, a stuffed animal, and a Kong toy in with her.
She's had a few piddle accidents in the house while playing, but has pooped once in her crate (earlier last night) and outside three times now! Looks like she goes #2 2x a day, is that normal? She's eating a mix of soft and dry Iams large breed puppy food.
Do you have any insight as to how long the process of Crate Training and Potty Training takes for ABs? I haven't found any info on the internet.
