What is the sex of both dogs? How old are they? Most puppies get along great when they are young...it's when they start to mature (anywhere ~6mo to 2 yrs) when they start to test the waters. Unless these guys are active show dogs, I would get them both spayed/neutered no later than the age of 6 months (if possible) I had a rescue pit/beagle mix who was not neutered until the age of 9 months and he grew into a cocky SOB. (but then again...I also had a Greyhound/pit mix who was neutered at 4 months and he too...grew into a cocky SOB...so maybe it's just a "male" thing. Opposite sexes get along better than same sexes. I currently have a household of 5 female dogs 1 1/2, 4 1/2, 5, 9, 9 1/2 yrs all. And they all get along. (breeds in order of ages) American Bulldog,Pitbull,PitBull,AmStaff,Shep mix.
Obedience training will help A LOT! You are dealing with 2 extreamly STUBBERN breeds. With both having the attitude of what can YOU do to please ME......goldens they are not.
Good luck,
Teresa
:if i get a beagle puppy and a bull terrier puppy will they attack each other or get along just fine with training?
