Our experience is not a fun one. We have a 7 year old daughter that was bitten by her grandfathers chesapeke bay retriever after being in the home for not even 2 minutes. Her grandfather picked her up to give her a hug set her down and the dog attacked her. She had 57 stitches in her face and is still undergoing plastic surgery to clean up some of the scaring. That is my opinion on the dog. Good Luck!
