My chihuahua/pom mix is 3 years old. He will go to the door to go outside and I never catch him peeing inside. However, I know he's going because I find spots here and there. What can I do to break him of this habit when I don't catch him doing it? He also does the submissive urination thing when he's excited, but, I've learned to deal with that. I just want him to stop spraying in the house. He also does it more at my mom's house. She's ready to put diapers on him. I don't catch him doing it there either. (FYI-He is neutered. He is blocked in the kitchen during the day when I'm at work and there are never spots in there. I didn't have any other dogs until recently and he didn't get any better or worse when the puppy came. My mom has a female pom/poodle mix and they get along fine, but I think her dog has started peeing in the house once in a while to cover up my dog's.)
Thanks for any help.
Wendy
