No - but if it makes you feel better, my friends have this problem with their 45kg Rottweiler!!! She climbs in between them in bed!!! She also thinks she's a lap dog and climbs on guests laps and curls up for petting! P.S. You're dog is gorgeous! Aren't they cute the way they stretch out their back legs that way?!!
:My female chi is 1 1/2 years old. My husband and I spend equal time with her, me mostly as the "mother" and him as the "player". She is very much a lap dog. The problem is anytime my husband and I try to sit next to each other she is right there wedging herself in the middle of us literally pawing and licking us until one of us moves. It was cute at first but now it's like she does't want us together at all! We can't figure out which one of us she is trying to "protect". She is otherwise a very smart and well behaved little girl (besides being terribly spioled...but I think that's a given). Just curious to see if anyone else has experienced this type of behavior with their Chi's.
