my cocker had "cherry-eye" Cockers have 3 eye-lids and normally sleep with their eyes "not" all the way shut. Anyway the ligament that holds them in place is weak. they tried to push his back in with a q-tip and it did not stay . he had the surgery and is fine,. much better. it does have a chance of coming back. He had both eyes done. they just attach that part of the lid back to the ligament. He never was in pain.. nancy
