Hi Candace!

First of all I can't believe the vet told your grandma that! I have 2 cockers, one, who is 2 years old is prone to ear infections and guess what? He hates having them cleaned. At first he tried biting my husband and I but treats really really calmed him down. Now, we don't even have to feed him the treats as we're doing it, because he knows he'll get something if he is a good boy. I belong to a cocker spaniel club online and there are many many people there that can help you and your grandmother with this poroblem! Email me and I will give you more information.
