I am friend of Bobbie who also just emailed you. There is NO reason to put a dog down for that. We can help you out. Maybe something is happening that hurt him. What's wrong with his ears? Maybe he had an infection or an allergy. I have problems with mine too but that really upsets me to think a vet would say that! I would NEVER go back there again if I were you. Email me or Bobbie, we can point you in the right direction.
