I have a female and a male and she is just like that. I haven't gotten her to stop but see if some of this works on yours. I've heard that they dig to get to cooler dirt and lie down on a cool place to take a nap. If you live in a hot place, that might be it. If not she could just be trying to make herself more comfortable. It may sound funny, but she may not like to sleep on a hard floor and could just be making herself a round, comfortable bed. Another thing is, there could be animal caves and stuff underground that they can smell(may I remind you, they can have a very powerful smell) and dig to get to them. Or just get her a noisy, funny looking toy that she can relate to or looks like an animal. Remember thay are hunting animals by instinct. Try to get her attention away from digging. Good luck with her.
