Hi!

I understand how you feel about wanting to get a puppy for your mom. It took me months to find a good breeder to get my mom and dad a puppy. Please be very careful about getting a cocker from a reputable breeder. These dogs can have so many health problems, that you will want a careful breeder to make sure they are trying to weed out the problems. I would suggest you contact the breed club at: American Spaniel Club, Inc.,. I went through the breed club for dachshunds and found the perfect puppy for my folks.
