Well, right now, we don't course in ANY part of the country. We don't even reach a trot on the leash per the vet's orders :(

But when we were conditioning, we did several many practice sessions with the Appalachee Coursing Club in Tallahassee FL. The website is www.lurecoursing.org . They are mostly borzoi and afghan people, with a few retired racers and whippets and one AKC grey. I got just enough of a taste for it that I KNOW it's something that I want to do, but Joplin is having his issues, and though he'd run until he keeled over, that obviously wouldn't be a good thing, so he is laying low for the time being.

BTW... if you ever want some entertainment, watch my little corgi mix Moe lure course. I think he was a greyhound in an earlier life. He has as much drive for the lure as a pack of hounds (on 6 inch legs:)
