WELCOME! Happy you joined our board. Congrats on your new addition! Have you taken your Dobbie for a vet visit yet? This is a recommended first step. Also, sharing a bit of info from the visiting Dobbie I have, my parents' gal, she had terrible skin allergies and had been on medications and sprays that did not help. I switched her over to the kibble I feed my own dogs and within a matter of 3 months her skin cleared up and she no longer has a rash or scratches or chews on herself. The kibble I feed is made by Natura and its called Innova. Its an all natural product and this is all I feed. My dogs do not need any other suppliment. Oil is not particularly healthy. Natura also makes another product called California Naturals which is also great for dogs with allergies. Good luck and we look forward to reading more about your new addition! Have any pics you would like to share?
:I adopted a Dobie from a friend and he chews or continiously licks at the same spot on his feet. How can I keep him from doing this and I can I "over-the-counter" treat it? I assume he does this act due to depression or boredom. I have tried to keep him occupied and have showed him nonstop affection and attention. I play with him and make sure he gets alot of excercise during the day. I have ran out of solutions and would greatly appreciate any help........
