Hello

We got these two boys as puppies at the same time. They are both very cheerful, and make wonderful companions. I am concerned that the two seem to fight an awful lot. It’s not hugely aggressive, though sometimes it looks it. There is some chasing (through the house) tugging on ears and cheeks, some mounting, biting tails, a few muffled growls, some barks, and usually it “looks” playful, though we are not sure. It usually lasts for 15 – 30 mins, at which time they are pooped and they go to sleep.

They have a good routine, ie, early morning walk (45mins), a small snack (chew) then, they will play fight, sleep (most of the day) and then dinner in the evening another walk (30 mins), and then play fight – again, then sleep.

Is the fighting something they will grow out of? Sometimes it’s quite aggressive, and usually starts both dogs sitting down, and then looking at each other (with tails wagging) and then the "fun" starts.
