: Help me, I have a male pittbull who is almost two years old, he lives in my house with me and is very good and very housebroken. However, in the last two months he has been spraying urine various placing in my home. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how I can I make this problem end.

It sounds like your dog is reaching maturity. Now that he's a "big boy" he has to mark so as to discourage other male dogs from trying to take over. Have you considered neutering? That just may do the trick, but there's no guarantee. Another suggestion is to get a cleaner that gets rid of the fermones (sp?). I get one from a cleaning supply store that sells to hotels, etc. It's called Bi-Storm and it works. However, that's no guarantee either. Feromones can be smelled by dogs for eons, I swear. And the special cleaners and odor removers you can buy in pet stores and the like don't(!) do it. But I think neutering would be the 1st path to follow. Tak with your vet or call a dog behaviorist. Some dog trainers will give advice over the phone for such problems. I hope this helps you out - at least a little!
