I'm interested in replies to this also.

However, a couple of things I found useful:

1) decreasing the amount of red meat in dog's diet (it heats the blood etc) - I just added more chicken to his diet.
2) Using "Betadene" to ensure if he scratches etc then no infection is going to get in

and 3) I also used some aloe vera on them (which the vet said was good and to keep doing so - however, I know learn that aloe vera can be toxic if ingested - so I don't wish to recommend this even though my dog never showed any signs of illness etc).

But I would love to know what has worked for others.

My dog's have gone after using the above - but I know there must be better ways!
