Personaly, I would not use it. I would use ETOGESIC.
Rimadyl has been linked to deaths in some dogs. Although
not common, it has happened. There have not been reports
of deaths with Etogesic. When my vet prescribed Rimadyl
to my dog, I asked if he could switch it to Etogesic,and
he did so. Etogesic can also have side effects(as can any
drug)but the info I've read leads me to decide against
Rimadyl. The following is a link you might want to read
