:If I were you, I would treat the infection first (antibiotics) that way your dog will be comfortable. Once the infection is under control, then start looking at the root cause, whatever that might be. That way you can prevent the bladder infections from flaring up again.

The vet gave Cole 2 grams of cephazalon and 1500 mg of amphicillin a day. He hasn't responded to that.
