:My 12 month old german shepherd only has one ear straight up. the other one just seems to flop down. It has been like this since he was 2 months old but it has came up occasionally. Is it ever going to come up? I keep hearing yes-just be patient but this is been too long I think I've lost all hope. I do still love him the same but people are making fun of him asking if his ear is broken. Are there any home remedies or should I get it crimped?
Two things you might try:
1. Tape the tips of the ears together so that both will stand up straight, for about 6 weeks.
2. Put him on a supplement to promote cartilage growth, such ads Longlife, or a glucosamine-chondroitin-msm combination.
