Hi,
How important is it to give heartguard or something like it for heart worms? If we give it for 12 months, is it necessary to get a blood test before giving a new year? It seems dumb to do it for a year if you have to do the blood test again anyway? We live in the Midwest and by Oct. or Nov. safe to say..no mosquitos. What would happen if you gave heartguard without a blood test?
